    Default Problem after upgrading os

I have recently installed windows 7 on my laptop by removing Windows XP completely. Now my computer gets stuck if I done accurate shut down but it just sits there and never shuts down. When I wake up in the morning it was still shutting down so I had to manually turn it off. Please advise me permanently and give me the perfect solution to all this.

I would recommend you to perform a clean boot to check if any conflicting / third party application is causing the problem during shutdown.

    • Go to Start, type msconfig in the Start Search box, and after that press ENTER.

    • If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.

    • On the General tab, click careful Startup.
