Thread: Changing computer name in mac osx:

Hi I am new in forum. I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Mac operating system. I want to change my computer name. I tried different way but none of them worked out for me. If you are having any suggestions then reply me. It can helpful to me.

For that you need to follow the below steps mention:

• Log in as a administrator account and after that type the password when prompted.

• Locate the Apple menu in the upper left corner of the Mac.

• Click and scroll down to System Preferences.

• Now click on the internet and network pane and after that click on the sharing folder.

• You will find the lock icon in the bottom corner to avoid the changes.

• Now click on the red window button to close the window.
