Thread: BIOS will not boot!

Hello, wanted to install just a BIOS update for my ASUS P5B. I have this motherboard already successfully updated. But this time was some mistake and since then the PC displays the start up screen and nothing more. I have manual pull battery out and plugged in, but does nothing, But since nothing is happening. All fans run and there is no sound. Is there another method of BIOS reset?

Please look if your bios have shot up, it will be difficult. You then need new BIOS chip soldered on it or send it for replacement. It usually occurs after a bad update from Asus, a message that reads about BIOS cannot load; please insert a disk with bios. If that does not come, well, that will be difficult. If you take out the battery, you have to keep a little longer out there. Or try again NEN CMOS reset jumper, and I think that will not the perfect option.........
