Thread: Booting issue

Hello friends, I just happened to install the D975XBX motherboard and used the DIMMS as of my main motherboard. My issue is that, I am not able to boot my computer after that. Please help! Thanks in advance!

I feel so that you have not linked in the power supply cable correctly to the computer and that is the reason that you are getting this type of issue. So simply open the case and then verify that all the connections are correct particularly the power cable. All the connections should be proper. As you are confirm with that then just turn on the computer and If that is as the computer is not getting the power supply then this time it will start the computer normally.

What i feel is you will have to see the specifications of your memory and then compare that with the needs that are given in this link. You should have to take care of the note box. You might have to take off the PCI card from your computer.

You need to try by setting the reaction time as well as the voltage values. If you require to do that then you can go with the BIOS of your computer and alter that to the evaluate that is given for the RAM which you are using. Check if that is able to help you in any manner or not. If that fixes the problem for you then this is fine but if that is not able to help you then the only option left for you is to change that RAM with the perfect ones and this will fix the problem for sure.
