    Default CIFS is ineffective to demonstrate entire empty blank space on CentOS.

    Hello everybody, I have few matter related to free area and Cent OS. I amworking 2 servers in my office with Cent OS 5, one server is webserver and other server is having 2TB memory to preserve entire myinformation within it. The repel are maked locally to such location/var/fileshare. My web server is apply CIFS and it connects withguest a/c. So my real trouble is, web server is viewing 1.5TB memoryis free but when I try to copy something to it, it shows me notplanty memory fault. So can anyone assist me with this? I am waitingfor your reply, thanks a lot in advance.

    Hey I have watch your trouble, and as per my suggestion just don’tworry for that. I am also apply the similar running system withsimilar computer architecture, and I am not having any matter withit. You just have to see that you are really mounting share, whichyou are guessing that you doing. Just do one thing, run “df-T” onany of your customer PC and verify that which host is connected andverify the kind of mount with CIFS. So just try to do this and let merecognize about it.     Hello friend, I have going on to your case, I have finded about it on net.Still I have tried it on my system also, I can say that you shouldchange that, you are really connected to the right share by copyinglittle file, along with that you must view their existence locallyfrom the backup server. and also see that the free memory is notpresent on primary disk, where the real Os is set up, if it is thereand alter it.

    Hey friends, thanks for your assist. I was sure that I will resolve mytrouble in here on this forum only. After reading your post I haveview entire the point accurately, and I came to recognize that, Ihave not set up samba. After that I set up samba with 3.0.33 edition32 bit. When I set up it and use the setting which is observed over,I have got through to my trouble.
