Default How do i set up Ubuntu.10.10.

Hello, I'm not really full regard to computers, but I always used to find new things related to computers, and therefore, the moment I heard about ubuntu.10.10 (Maverick), and I love the installation of windows. However, I have heard many ways to do this, but I'm confused what the best. Suggestions for the installation, I mean, how do I install? I heard it's not very difficult, right? Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's great that you want to install Ubuntu.10.10, let me say that I had used, and all the features and functionalities are very good, but as you say, you can not have that much knowledge about computers, so I recommend you start basic operating system like Windows XP and try to use it, otherwise can not obtain the right to use it. Something that almost all orders are based, so you should practice on the base.

First you need to partition your hard drive, and more importantly, you can use all the windows too, I mean you can have Windows XP and Ubuntu both on your computer, but it seems you are only interested in Ubuntu, you must first format the computer and then install a new copy of the new OS. This will be automatically added when you insert the CD to install Ubuntu.

If you can burn an ISO file to a CD, and install it from there is the easiest way. Or you can simply start Windows and insert the CD with an installation file for Ubuntu. Wubi will run automatically, in other words, this is an installer that creates a virtual partition in a Linux partition to a file for the same windows. You can just download Wubi, so you do not need to burn the CD even more.

The best thing about this, I'd say that gives us the opportunity to install it on the inside of the Windows taskbar. All you need is to download the ISO file, and then paste it into the software, such as daemon tools, etc. This type of software for Internet and run wubi.exe. You must enter a disc the size and location of the name in which you want to install Ubuntu. And then asks for a username and password, so then it restarts automatically and then start the installation.
