Plextor Corporation currently launches the latest PX-B940SA Blu-ray drive as well as writer which is capable to burn BD-R Single layer as well as Dual layer at speed of up to 12X, merging with Pioneer’s BDR-S05J/BDR-205. The burner is also capable to write BD-R LtH at 6X, BD-RW SL/DL at 2X, DVD+/-R at 16X, DVD+/-RW as well as DVD+/-R DL at 8X plus DVD-RAM at speed of up to 5X. CD-R/RW is also being sustained up to 40X.
