This sleek Blu-ray combo is a laptop drive packed in an external casing with USB interface - it doesn't need additional power supply. It can read and write single-layer DVDs at 8x and read CDs and Blu-ray discs at 24x and 4.8x respectively. You can either keep this drive flat on your desk or vertical using the bundled stand. The drive ships with CyberLink Blu-ray Disc Suite 6.0 and a pointless utility for adjusting the brightness of the backlit blue streaks on its exterior. The suite includes applications for burning discs and CyberLink Power DVD.
