Subsequent to the USB 3.0 external hard drive, Buffalo Japan declared the innovative BR-X1216U3, with a 12X external Blu-ray disc writer with the most recent USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface. Thanks to the USB 3.0, Buffalo’s innovative burner offers faster with more stable disc burning.

The Buffalo BR-X1216U3 writes BD-R as well as BD-R Dual Layer at a speed of up to 12X with BD-RE SL/DL at a speed of up to 2X. It also sustains burning DVD+/-R at speed of up to 16X, DVD+/-R DL at 8X, DVD+RW at 8X, DVD-R at 6X as well as DVD-RAM at a speed of up to 5X. CD-R/RW is also supported.
