CDs are a helpful medium for saving data. You can save music, documents, video and other such files on a compact disc, making it simple to back up data in two easy steps. Copying data from a CD to PC is a simple task, as is copying data from PC onto CD.
Instructions
Copying CD Data
1. Put CD that has video data you want to copy into CD/DVD drive. Be certain to put in CD right side up so PC can read it correctly.
2. With CD putted in drive, go to "Computer" icon on desktop. You can also access it in Start menu by choosing "Start," and find "Computer" on Start menu. It is usually placed under "Documents" link.
3. Start "Computer" window. Go to region "Devices with Removable Storage" and double tick on CD/DVD drive. This shows contents of CD.
4. To copy contents of CD to PC, just choose all folders and/or files you want, and drag them to desktop. PC will automatically copy files to desktop.
5. If you have a CD burner and want to copy video files from desktop to a CD, do again steps 1-3, using a blank CD. Drop and drag contents you want to copy to CD, and then choose "write files to CD" choice that must shows on window. Then follow the steps in CD Writing Wizard to finish task.
