Default How to protect DVD Writer ?

I have an LG Writer (GSA-H20N) that I purchased back in 2006. I have changed its region settings four times so far. Now, the region settings allowed shows up as only one. When I attempt to change that setting, it shows up an error message saying that the region setting cannot be changed. Make sure that you have Administrator privileges. Now my drive is locked on Region 3 and I'm unable to access any DVD. I haven't played any other DVDS of different regions. It happened accidentally and I only have Region 5 media. Please help me overcome this problem.

DVD drives have region protection built into them. For the sake of flexibility, a few changes are allowed every now and then. You shouldn't change the region at all. If you've exhausted all the allotted limit, you can't reset the region.
