Thread: DVD writer Problem

I'm using an LG DVD writer. The Problem is that Digit DVDs are not readable while other DVDs are readable on my laptop. Other DVDs can even be written perfectly. Please tell me if I have to buy a new writer or not.

There is most likely some kind of compatibility issue with your drive if it's really old. You should try flashing its firmware. Remember, this is a risky task. Usually, the firmware adds support for newer media. We suggest trying some more Digit DVDs to be sure.
