CD drives are not invented to be difficult to work. Many drive bay covers has big buttons fixed to their fronts that directly open and close their trays. Then, there are many times when they won't react when press these buttons. There is method to avoid eject button fully and make CD drive open from PC.

Instructions

• Push drives eject button many times, to be sure it is not functioning. Give drive some seconds to react.

• Push eject button on keyboard if you are using Mac.

• Start "My Computer" in PC.

• Find CD drive's icon among other detachable storage drive icons.

• Right click icon and choose "Eject". Most menus have many choices, so you want to search for it for a moment.

• Put in tiny, critical thing in small hole on front of CD drive. Pins and needles work. This makes drive open even though PC shut down.

• Reboot PC and repeat Steps 1 to 6 if drive still does not react.
