Connect FireWire Drive to Windows Computer
• Attach FireWire cable to FireWire drive. Hard disk will rotate and PC detects it as "Plug-n-Play" tool.
• Go to "My Computer" to show drive's contents. You can view, change and edit those contents similar way you do files on external hard drive or pen drive.
• To disconnect FireWire drive, click "Safely Remove Hardware". Click "OK." Message appears: "It is now safe to remove hardware." Click "OK" and disconnect FireWire drive.
Connect FireWire Drive to Macintosh
• Attach FireWire cable to FireWire drive. Hard disk rotates and builds up on desktop.
• Open FireWire drive to show its contents. You can view, change and edit contents similar way files are done on external hard disk or pen drive.
• To disconnect FireWire drive, drag it to "Trash" or right tick on it. Choose "Eject" from file menu.
