Thread: Stopping XP CD burning service

I have installed Windows XP in my PC with Sony DVD writer. Now I got extra CD RW for free. I had connected similar in my PC which is detected appropriately but give out errors in burning. I used Windows inbuilt CD burning service and not third party software. So help me to solve this error.

If it is Windows XP Professional, there is small recording software. It is intended by Roxio, Editor EasyCD Creator, thus presenting standard version streamlined its flagship software. It is not so efficient. To prevent disc break then go to professional tool soon.

To disable burning software, go to Control Panel, choose Administrative Tools, then Services and double click IMAPI CD-Burning and disabled it. Then restart PC and check again. Windows service for burning disc won’t work. Now use Nero or other third party software for burning.
