If CD-ROM drive is not identifying disc in drive then clean CD-ROM drive. Clean CD-ROM drive frequently to ensure that it is clean or free of garbage. Cleaning CD-ROM drive regularly will extend life of drive and CDs.

Instructions

• Open CD tray use air to clean dust and elements out of CD-ROM drive. By can of compressed air, softly blow air through front of tray opening. Do not use much pressure as it damage any other part.

• Obtain CD laser lens cleaning kit from any PC shop.

• Use it as shown on it. Mainly, insert laser lens cleaner in drive and follow audio directions cautiously. This process takes some minutes. Laser lens cleaner eliminate dust, elements and garbage from CD-ROM drive.

• Place CD laser lens cleaner back in its case to prevent harm. To clean CD itself, wash with wet, soft cloth in circular motion to prevent scratching disc then play CD normally.
