Doing clean installation of XP is required when you want to start fresh version of OS. There are only two possible methods from CD or from boot disks. When using CD is not feasible, depend on customary technique of installing OS directly from series of boot disks.

Instructions

• Put in USB drive and copy all files to it, as hard drive is clean during installation process.

• Download boot disk creator program for particular version of Windows XP.

• Save file to PC. Put in floppy disk in PC, and open downloaded program to start making installation floppies.

• Put in other disks when prompted by program's auto-creator.

• Put first floppy in PC and reboot system.

• Press any key when shown by startup messages to start from disk. Hit "Enter" key to begin installation procedure.

• Install XP on any one drive. Then format drive with NTFS file system it is new file system and quicker than FAT32 standard.

• Put in extra disks when prompted to finish installation process.
