    Default Driver required installing XP

    I need to install windows XP on dell inspiron 1464 notebook. Can anyone where I can get the drivers for my notebook. Drivers are not there in dell support. Any help will be appreciated.

    I think system intended for windows 7 that is why XP driver are not there. Check the specifications of it and does not format or delete restore partition.

    Just try to install windows 7 or vista drivers. Download that drivers and install them from device manager.

    I installed windows 7 32 bit and it takes all drivers automatically and OS working fine. Thank you for your suggestions.
