Compaq computers approach with revival CD or permit to generate own Recovery CD for system reinstatement. The Compaq Recovery CD contains "Factory Reset" option that allows restoring computer's hard drive to its factory default state, removing any problems or issues that may be present on your computer. Restoring the disk to its original settings will eliminate all data on your computer, so make sure to back up any files you want to keep before performing a restoration.

• Reverse up some individual data do not want erased throughout reinstatement to outside drive or an optical disc. put in Recovery CD into computer's CD drive and restart your computer. Your Compaq will boot into Recovery Mode.

• Choose "Factory Restore" from Recovery menu to reinstate computer's hard drive to factory settings. push "Enter" to believe warning punctual that appears and continue with factory rearrange.
