A DL DVD, well known as a dual layer DVD increases the recording size of a ordinary DVD from 4.7 GB to 8.5. This allow for more movies and additional materials to be placed on the one DVD. Though the dish does write on two different layers the quality falls slightly. In order to use the DL disc properly a dual layer DVD burner is used. Or else the burner cannot detect the extra layer of accessible storage space.
Things You'll Need:
• DL DVD burner
• Empty DL DVD
Instructions:-
1. Open the DL DVD burner and put the double layer DVD into the disc drive. Close the drive and start the DVD burning software.
2. Select the DVD format. There are two main formats available when creating the dual layer DVD. The first is "Data" which is use for backing up materials from the PC. The other one is "Video." This is the same format use for movies DVDs & plays on a stand by DVD player.
3. Hit "Add Files," then select the files you wanted to place on the DVD with the search window that appear. Press "OK" to come out of the window.
4. Name the disc at the top of the program in the empty "Title" bar.
5. Hit "Burn" and the content are placed in the dual layer DVD.
