Thread: DVD drive stopped working

Hello!
For a few weeks I had a problem with my CD drive The problem is as following: If I do something in the drive, and it will start then, I get the following error message
In a word. No matter what, it does not start. Uninstall I have already tried, and the Lower and Upper Filters I have already been deleted - all unsuccessful.
If I contest is something that still drive noises and the PC seems to load the CD - it's not just so the impression that the drive would not work.

That means nothing. The drive also tinkers and tries to find something if it is broken, especially when the laser weak with age or the mechanism is misaligned.

Try it with a new drive. Does not know directly the world!
