Please right click on the DVD-R and opt for explore. This will let you to view the files contained in it. Thank you.
Just transfer the data cables of HDD & DVD Rom. And verify if the device tray is coming out or is there any instance in DVD rom. If your DVD room is having power and running, than changing data cable may fix the issue.
On reboot press "F1" to enter setup
you will arrive at the "main" screen in setup, scroll down to the cd rom device(s) that is not being recognized by Windows and change the device from "Auto" to "cdrom".
Press "F10" to save and exit.
I tried loading all sorts of driver downloads, driver update software, and yelling.
Only the fix above did the job, disconnecting and reconnecting IDE and power cables to the cd roms did not effect the desired change
