Digital Video Disc films have region codes, and they generally just play on a player or Digital Video Disc-ROM drive traded in the country where the Digital Video Disc films was traded.


The real part code is in one byte on the digital Video Disc. The Digital Video Disc player or drive has a region code in its firmware. PC Digital Video Disc-ROM actors frequent have the code in the software or MPEG-two decode. The 2 codes must match for the player or drive to play the film. The code is too printed on the back of a Digital Video Disc package, superimposed on a little picture of the world.
