Not just any ordinary KVM switch the CS1792 is designed to let you share your display between HDMI devices including PCs and game consoles. It also integrates a USB hub and can independently switch controls, peripherals and audio between two devices. You can work on one PC and shift your keyboard, video and mouse to the second one, while connected USB printers remain connected to the first. You can also play audio from one PC while you work on the other, using the same speakers. Keyboard shortcuts let you switch between PCs or monitor activity between them, so the main unit can be hidden to reduce cable clutter. It was tricky remembering the button combinations to switch only KVM or USB modes and it was a very easy to accidentally disconnect USB peripherals while in use. Otherwise, it's a highly capable KVM device with useful and unique features.
