Thread: Sony laptop starts, no screen

I start my laptop then come sound but no screen and CPU fan doesn’t come on. Please help me to solve this problem.

Your AC adapter and main battery etc. You'll get no video if the main battery is not charged enough or is defective. "If you get no display when an external monitor is connected, you may need to consult the Owner's or User's manual for the model - there may be a key or key combo that toggles the LCD display / external display / both. " If that doesn't help, the external monitor won't work, then the video adapter is probably fried - it's probably built into the motherboard, so you would have to replace the motherboard.
