Thread: LCD screen black or dark

I have Compaq v6000 series laptop fall of water in angle of screen destroy. And my charger dead,
I take local charger temporary but problem start my laptop with AC power, there nothing shown on screen, even though I can hear windows preliminary sound, but I cut off adapter, it show working well this charger completely working for my friend. Please help me to solve this problem.

You shouldn't use an adapter or charger from an additional machine unless you know the wattage and voltage are exactly the same. You could break the machine. Get one that was designed for your machine.
