Thread: Unable to access the director shares functions

I have a computer which has Windows vista operating system .I am not able to access the administrative shares functions from a remote computer? I am not getting any solution for my problem and need some help for solving that problem.

Try this; it may solve your problem

• Click start >>Type: regedit >>hit enter

• Browse the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\system\

• Right-click on anywhere >>Then Click New

• Click DWORD Value

• Type: LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy

• Double-click the item you just created

• Type 1 into the box

• Click OK

• Reboot your PC
