• De-solder the three points of contact connecting the connector and the motherboard. Add fresh fuse to release a contact, and as you heat it, use a de-soldering pump to take out as much bond from it as possible. Do the similar for all three contacts.

• Take away the connector from the motherboard. Definitely hold the metal casing among two fingers, and try to dislodge it by slowly moving it from surface to surface. The connector will not come out simply because there will still be various fuse holding the contacts to motherboard traces. As you work to release the connector, use the other hand to keep heating the contacts one-by-one. Do not relate too much force, and carry on the process until the connector is totally disconnected.

• Clean links on the connector. Use a sharp-edged tool and quietly chip away deposits from the metal projection, and then relate fuse over each contact. Heat up the soldering iron and apply a suitable amount of fuse to all contacts.

• Clean the fatal on the motherboard. Use a small toothbrush and an alcohol solution to clean the part where you detached the connector. Clean the terminals dry and make sure you do not depart surplus fluid on the motherboard.

• Relate fuse to all terminals on each side of the motherboard, and again attach the connector. Attach the contacts to the terminals and relate a fresh layer of solder to each of the associates to eternally join the connector to the motherboard. Stay for the fuse to dry, and quietly raise the motherboard to make sure whether the connector is confidently attached. It if comes off, or shake, relate solder awaiting it makes a hard attachment.
