Instructions
• Right-hit "My Network Places" on your desktop. If you have Windows Vista or 7, the icon is labeled "Network." choose "Map Network Drive" from the menu.
• Go into a position for the remote computer drive. Type "\\computer_name\c$" keen on the text box if you desire to access information from another PC's "C" drive, for example restore "computer_name" with the name of thePC. The "C" drive always has a dollar sign suffix.
• Press "Finish." The network drive is mapped to your machine. Double-Hit "My Computer" on your machine's desktop to confirm it is complete and to start downloading files from the remote machine. If you have Vista or Windows 7, the icon is labeled "Computer."
• Double-hit the new mapped drive. The mapped drive has a letter next to it, and it displays the position of the remote machine's folder. You can now download files from the mapped drive to the local "C" drive and also double-hit files to edit and read them from the remote machine.
