How do I convert MS Works files to Word?

Save in Works

Make a file in Works and save it in the default Works format, which has a ".wps" extension.

Open in Word

Open the Works file in Word in any one ways. Press Office Button, and then press "Open," and use default "All Files" file type. Or, press the drop-down arrow beside "All Files" and choose version of Works, from 4.x through 9.0, in which you generated the file.

Again save in Word

If the Works file has open in Word, press the Office Button, and then "Save as," and choose one of Word file formats by a ".doc" or ".docx" extension in which to resave file.
