Thread: Uninstalling limewire from PC

I am using a computer system installed with windows vista operating system. I installed LimeWire software on my machine and I got 2 songs and after that I try to remove files and songs, but incapable to remove them, it shows files are opened by other program. I have songs in iTunes but I stop sharing of it and now problem is it will not permit me to delete all unwanted data.

To remove this software from the system go to start, open control panel and then open installed programs list and find LimeWire. Then uninstall it. After that restart the machine

To solve this problem open Windows Task Manager and open processes tab. after that search limewire, and open it and click End Process. After that uninstall it form control panel and also remove its files from the C: drive.

even i think the above given suggestion would help you out in uninstalling linmewire software.
