On computer I can’t find file extensions for ANY files. Such as Text files, Excel spreadsheets, Visual Basic code files, HTML documents.
In short about my setup:
I turn on in to my pc through a user account on the company domain. I discuss with the IT Manager who maintains the domain and he tell me that there aren't any user permission settings presently applied to any pc on the network that would limit the visibility of file extensions.
I make some changes on my computer but the explorer window cant restore with the extensions file and as I return to the settings, the file extensions hidden option that I just change it again I could find the file extensions.
While not generally a very big problem, this does annoy me a little as I want to see extensions filewhile I'm working because I can't all the time tell what file is what in my project folders by the icons.
You do not have full control for administrator account if the permissions were someway altered. Now if you could not click on the apply button then you go through in the "menu bar>Tools>Folder options>View".it is easy method and you found easily
you could not find extensions file because of you click on the apply button once the items were not checked. You have your IT tech perform with an XP disk andyou have nearly the I386 folder would be a run of the System File Checker which will usually prompt for a Windows disk. That help to go with the system file confirmation process .
If your problem started in at minimum period before a then you go with restore options and going for this option you have to check problem in system
Hello
Ogg is a multimedia file format, an open source format developed & maintained by the Xiph.Org Foundation. Being free & open source, the ogg format is widely used by audio & video developers to create multimedia content. Video game developers extensively use the Ogg Vorbis file format to store in-game audio.
.ogg file extension is currently reserved solely for Vorbis encoded audio files. The oog format is also used by developers as a container for other multimedia applications.
The actual audio or video format could be a different one that ogg format, but when used as a holder, the ogg files could contain multi-format high quality audio & video files. it could be due to a corrupt file or due to the computer’s registry not being able to make out the correct association of a software to run the ogg file.
