    Default Give me some Help

I work on Packard Bell Easy note MV35-202 notebook that said my operating system Xp was not real. It was. Someone told to look on the Packard Bell site and they will give you good support. I start this download that would restore the laptop to its settings. I tryed restarting my notebook and it show some' Hard Disk in Sector Invalid'. It only stops that when I have the CD I made in but even them I can only go to command prompt. On the command prompt it show Exit from OEMSETUP.

Once seeing the recovery finish did you memorize to set the boot order back to hard drive and not leave it set to optical? I had to ask that one since all too often many will just forget to go back to the bios setup and rearrange the hard disk as the boot device.

single problem if you reset the boot order might be a bad burn to disk or a bad recovery finish with a problem install. Another would be a effect of now see bad sectors from wear on the drive.

As soon as you are at the recovery console you can also try the fix boot commands if the boot order was replace again to see the hard disks as default in order to rewrite the boot information to see if that helps any. If the hard drive is now problematic or the hidden recovery partition has been corrupted someway you can end up want a complete install disk however to see Windows start again.
