1) Switch off the Toughbook and then unplug the power cable from the notebook unplug other devices switch on the retaining button securing the battery pack to the battery section. Pick up the battery pack out of its section and set it away.

2) Pull out the two main nuts from the battery section. That two nut the keyboard to the notebook shell

3) Put the notebook in front and open the LCD screen as far as it will go, until the main nuts on either side of the notebook under the LCD hinges are showing. Use a main screwdriver to remove the single nuts from the upper-right and left-hand corners.

4) Pick up on the keyboard and then it put down over the palm rest. Use a small flat screwdriver to press on on the retaining tabs on also side of the keyboard ribbon connector where it connects to the motherboard. Beware not to break the ribbon connector. Unplug the keyboard ribbon cable from the motherboard and then take away the keyboard from the notebook

5) pick up the heat sink with awareness out of the notebook shell. The heat sink is a large metal plate that sits to the middle of the motherboard, defending the CPU.and take out the heat sink

6) Close the LCD screen with awareness and take the notebook down. Take away all visible main screws from the base shell assembly. Put the laptop in front and again open the LCD screen.

7) Take away the3 black head screws situated on the base-left turn of the Tough book’s higher shell assembly. Watchfully divide the higher shell from the base shell.

8) Unplugs the USB card from the board. Slide the USB card out of it’s on the notebook.

9) Install the new USB card by do again this process in reverse
