Thread: How to construct picture plain in GIMP?

Hi everyone, I have a lots image that want to convert it to transparent in GIMP and set it as a Background page in a document, anybody knows how it can be done? Can anybody tell me what steps I should follow to make Image Transparent in GIMP?

I was also facing such kind of issue try to follow below steps:-

• Open an image that is between 100x100 and 800x800:

• Go to Layer> Mask> Add Layer Mask

• A small window opens select white

• press ctrl + L at the same time, available via

the File menu in the main gimp> dialogues> create a new window with tabs> layers channels and paths

• Take the fill tool and select a gray color or too dark or too light

• Click on the white conditions on the small window layer and fill the figure with the gray save the output

To make an image transparent just follow these steps:

• Add a white layer

• After that adjust the layers opacity.

• Save the image with the layer.

• change the brightness of the original image
