Create problem to installing drivers of Acer aspire I have an Acer 2930z notebook, and I installed os xp home on it. The installation process went fine, and windows boots there is not any problems. Now I want to install several drivers, so I downloaded them from Acer’s site. When I run the setup process for the drivers, I find an error message: this computer does not meet the least requirements for installing the software. Setup will exit. Even although my notebook clearly does.

When you done a fresh installation of Windows is total is the Microsoft update site for the most recent drivers they have available. One time the laptop or desktop installation is scanned by the update process there evaluate the update history when there is for devices or programs needing an update those will be planned and available for download.

as well the Acer help site which would usually be the another place to look being the producer there also a few notebook driver sites carrying XP driver

prior to trying these you may want to go into the Control Panel and provisionally turn off the Windows firewall as well as stop any 3rd party protection programs if you have previously installed anything that could be interfering with the driver installs. You may try an alternate support site for Acer.
