Thread: Making extended partition with logical drive

I confused between "partition" & "Volume". I need to partition C: drive to give Extended partition with 2 logical partitions to delete Data from C: and place MY installed programs.
So please tell me can I use 3rd party software for this. If you are having any suggestions then reply me. It can helpful to me.

To create logical partition by 3rd party program Partition Wizard. Right-click on empty space, and click on Create New. Then follow the instruction wizard to create a logical partition.

There is no requirement for Logical partitions in Windows 7. They typically utilized for Windows 95/98, I did some logical partitions with Windows NT but that was since people were formatting FAT32 and required to dual boot with DOS. Make primary partitions and set data on them that is ok.
