    Default Connection problems

I have a Dell Computer that had its personal security stuff. I have Shaw Cable that has its own security stuff and then Windows Vista with all of its stuff. I keep receiving dropped connections, IS Filter Callout without a policy provider listed, Internet Explorer cannot show webpage and when I diagnose it tells me nothing is incorrect or I get the call out. I got rid of the dreaded 0x80072ee2 by getting a register cleaner but the other problems persist. I cannot update Windows because I keep losing the connection and cannot backup my files for the same reason.

Normally when losing your connection through an ISP for cable one thing to try is reuse power on the modem in use. For considering that done you turn off your machine first next by turning off or disconnecting the ac adapter plug from the modem for at least 20 seconds to a full minute.

One time you replug or turn the modem back on it will re establish the organization with the ISP establishing the pre existing IP new all over again. When powering up you may have to go into the network settings to observe that the Home setting is set or even use the network troubleshooter to repair any another connection
