That happen in not Windows 7 you can simply stick it to a side of your desktop.
some appliances, like the Media Center one covers a leading portion of the screen, so it appears strange. It would have been better if those appliances were not increased.
I've checked so far from a some testers on with other sources is that the sidebar you are concerning to is no longer seen in windows 7 like it was in windows Vista. The Start task bar now serves that propose where you can drag affairs onto it or off onto the desktop.
I think the Sidebar is over in Windows 7, the completely desktop is the Sidebar.
