You have so soon rub the system quiet a some times,i suppose there is nothing else left that you can save.why not attempting a fresh install from scratch again.
put windows 7 installation dc delete whatever you have left in all hard drive partition, and start a all fresh life with a whole fresh installed operating system.

you only formatted the disks which you installed windows XP, simply the NTLDR and bootstrap of Hard drive is having the entrance for windows XP. in order to take out that a new installation itself is required.

confirm that you have you windows 7 serial key for reactivation, since,as far as i experience, that 100mb partition hold all the knowledge of your antecedently installed windows 7.I'm uncertain of how it works. simply i look this type of problems quiet a some times on computer whose have per-installed windows 7 simply like you. difficulty with it and the only option that i know that you got left is to erase it all.

I would advise reconfiguring the boot loader, for this is where the information is maintained about another OS options available. There are lots sessions out there, admitting the utilize of the Windows7 disc, and the free programs that immediately edit the information. Be careful when editing immediately, as anything not precisely right may very thrust it up.
