Thread: Mouse frozen down Problem

For installing Mac OS X 10.5.6. Then while I boot up the DVD. I wait till it boots up the installer and then while it tells me to select the language, I move the mouse and it doesn't work at all. I even attempted rebooting the DVD and remove and put back the mouse. Then I attempted using the external mouse but it yet didn’t work.

The problem is that small or no hardware is supported at boot up with this DVD, because it's actually hard to acquire computer hardware working on OS X. It essentially does all it can simply to boot, and then you select your hardware throughout the installation to confirm the real OS X installation will work.

I attempted the -v and -f. it still doesn't work. and the PS/2 mouse I have connect in the USB 2.0 port. It even didn't work. any other thoughts? How do you do the BIOS thing you did? I don't get it.

I have a Gigabyte motherboard with an Award BIOS, and I had to become into a menu called Integrated Peripherals and change USB Mouse Support and USB Keyboard Support for them to work earlier Windows places the drivers. I use a wireless combo keyboard/mouse, and later I changed this installation with OS X went fine.
