The DFL-860 offers all the advanced security characteristics to deal, monitor and keep a healthy and secure Administrative functions of the network include: remote management, policy control of bandwidth, URL blocking / keywords, access policies and SNMP. To control the network, the firewall supports e-mail alerts, system log, consistency checks and statistics in real time.

For optimum VPN configuration, the DFL-860 has a client and a VPN server that affirms nearly any required VPN policy. This allows a remote office to connect securely to the corporate network or a trusted partner. The mobile users working from home or other locations can connect securely to the corporate network to access corporate data and view their mail.

The DFL-860 lets in a detection system and violation prevention (IDP / IPS), anti-virus (AV) at the gateway and the web content filtering / URLs for categorization and advanced protection. It uses an approach similar to that of an accelerator to increase the flow of IPS and VA. It also uses an online database of Web browsing containing millions of URLs for Web Content Filtering (WCF). Services updated in real-time database system IPS, AV and URL protect the corporate network against the exploitation of applications, network worms, malicious code attacks and offer everything a company needs to control the behavior of Internet access for its employees.
