I have seen this finding on windows Vista. when an significant activity is being performed, windows will ask approval from "console". This helps stop illegitimate activity from "desktop"s . If the desktop and console occur to be the same, the instigator of that activity himself/herself will see the ratification message, which may seem inane.

I experience that sometimes it is hard to correct a problem, without really being "on" the computer. A more information is the simply way to go. You can also attempt to delete/rename by confirm that there is just one active desktop on the computer, there is simply one user on the computer, and that user has administrative approvals. You can also attempt biter scripting.
