Cooler Master brought in a new full tower case known as the HAF 932. HAF bases for High Air Flow, and with three huge 200mm fans per-installed Cooler Master had found an reserve name for this newcomer. The HAF combined rugged, industrial style expects with many of the similar amenities as some of their high-end cases like the Cosmos, but minus the equaling high price tag. The HAF turned so popular that it generated a whole new series, with later growths arriving in a variety of sizes and colors, like the smaller HAF 922, a 932 AMD Edition, the HAF X, 932 Black and 922 Red.

Accepting a impacting similarity to the 922, the 912 is only slightly narrower and shorter at 19" x 9" x 19.5". yet the 912 deviates from previous HAF models in former ways, such as losing some of the tool-less capacities, while plunking up support for 2.5" drive mounting, a well known alternative with the recent explosion of SSD use. Air flow is also fairly reduced, with only two 120mm fans let in, rather than the large 200mm ones we've raised used to seeing in the HAF series.

Cooler Master considering adds a 2.5" drive cage for those who are utilizing substantial state drives in their desktop system, while letting both 2.5" and 3.5" cages to be removed if extra space is expected. There's also a 3.5" to 2.5" adapter, tool-less drive rails, and securing mechanism for the visual bay, and oversized admittance opening in the motherboard tray.
