    Default HTPC playing problem

I attempted to playing utilizing VLC Bon Cop Bad cop 1080p edition on my HTPC. regrettably it didn't work. The audio was played back simply fine still the video was not showing up. I believed VLC had hardware acceleration on it or is it not that smashing and xbmc may run with my cpu and gpu better then vlc?

Should i turn off cool and still or do i need a committed gpu to acquire 1080p working on this thing? Overclocking the cpu isn't actually an selection as the most i can push it is from 1.9 to 2.0 as the motherboard or cup wont go promote then that.

My realizing is that your spatiality should have no problems at 1080p with DXVA enabled. I'd attempt XBMC and MPC-HC nothing to miss they install rapidly.

I'd attempt GOM player over VLC. several 1080p videos don't play right on my laptop in VLC or WMP but they every behave in GOM.

Don't utilize VLC. Its DXVA hardware quickening is horrific. You can attempt MPC-HC's DXVA to assure if it assists. If not attempt CoreAVC w/ MPC-HC.

AMD never accomplished that feature as nicely as Intel has. If an Atom CPU can cover 1080p playback your 8xxx series Phenom sure as hell should.

My principal HTPC is an old 2x Athlon BTW brings like a champion on high def.

Really give money and utilize Cyberlink's Power DVD. I changed and haven't appeared back.
