AMD today introduced the world a processor by its main feature has caused intrigue in the world community a triple core. Does it make sense that an invention? Is there room in the market between dual and quad core?

The global computer community first reacted with suspicion to the announcement better or for worse it sounded like something very irregular. We were accustomed to the gradual expansion multicore that we were seeing in recent years tended to double or rather to expand in powers of two.

First the Dual Core, Quad Core and then in the near future Octo Core. Did I sense a triple core?Either way AMD confirmed at the end of that month, and step aside in their road maps a space for this new niche, which in their eyes could co-exist happily with the dual and quad core offerings as a compromise.

Although Intel recently downplayed this product, the truth is that AMD will have an immense faith and definitely not for nothing. At least at the level of assemblers the first batch of these models the X3 Phenoms 8600 and 8400 had a very good host.

However, these models, published belonged to the ill-fated family of Phenoms afflicted by the TLB bug, which although it rarely occurs, it is automatically patched in a large number of plates resulting in a sharp drop performance.

Today, we witness a revival. The batch of Phenoms been renewed, and the B3 stepping is now bug free. This advantage can forget the severe patch resulting in a sharp increase in performance. Thus the Phenoms X3 8750, 8650 and 8540 have officially come to market with suggested price of 195, 165 and 145 dollars respectively.
