Thread: Limited or no connectivity.

In my work we have fixed IP private network, you have a separate modem server PC's, everything is connected to a switch and there is no internet server, I could not configure the modem when achievement between the wireless network also enter the PC's wired mode with automatic IP which is not desirable.

If you take off DHCP wired network does not come with automatic IP but in the wireless network connected but I get limited connectivity or no. We have a range of IP for PC's and the gateway is 192,168,254,253.I wonder if they are needed the DHCP and DNS if it is necessary to set the modem IP.

No one can have IP DHCP on your network, at least your mind manually configure your network, but if you do manual you should see that everything is in the same sub net.
