    While Western Digital finally exceeds 2 TB barrier by selling two new hard drives to 2.5TB and 3 TB.

    GPT is perfectly compatible with 32-bit systems but only from Vista .By cons you need a 64 bit system to boot in UEFI.

    And Macs are directly compatible like a lot of Linux machines even in BIOS.

    But I think it can more easily manage 3GB.In my case, the only worry would be the management at the controller of the CM. I'm already using a recent OS and 64 bit .

    At the same time we generally buy that kind of disk to store and most geek so buyer DD are on 64bit system.

    We mean by this that he must be careful before ordering. It's pretty embarrassing to buy a 3 TB disk on the Internet to replace an old 250 GB only to discover you can not boot from it and he'll have to return to the store.     Possibility to configure more than 4 partitions 64-bit addressing areas.Boot manager to select the OS to load, no longer stored in the partition table is the BIOS that loads the OS directly. Basically there is no real revolution is just that the structure of the MBR was really technically outdated.
