This is a Compaq Presario C700 laptop is normal for the adapter is hot? The laptop works well the power connector on the laptop but not heated I notice that the adapter if heated units.

It all depends on the temperature that take the adapter, if only slight warming or if it burned if you touch them. A little warming is within normal.
