Dealing with different designs of external storage enclosure is a bit like taking a microscope to count the Pop Tarts and sprinkles to decide what variety of cake contains no more than good taste. Or at least that's what we feel. Because there nothing functionally different with the firm Antec Veris that one of the many other plants we tested. You slap a player, connect a USB or eSATA, and call it a day.
Well, more or less. Even if the nuclear device is simple and hassle Veris is still a slightly different experience. First, the drive enclosure comes with a screw, which must be removed before it can inject the garage.
It is a minor inconvenience, as other speakers we' ve seen that try to Icy Dock are one hundred per cent-without screws. But unlike the pregnant Icy Dock, the Veris comes with a quiet fan in the bottom of the machine that shakes a constant, albeit small amount of air on your hard drive.
Speed-wise Veris is no harm or improve the performance of the disk for any reason. USB and eSATA connections are easily accessible as a power switch on the device. Because of its relative silence when they are placed near the computer tumbling down, the light in front of Veris is a bit poor to say whether a case or not. We much prefer a simple LED to the outside.
Thoroughness of our critical needs to understand exactly how we feel on this unit. Although it is a little square and ugly, it is even stronger for both your office and desktop PCs. The Veris is not the best equipment for those who plan to go through a ton of drive, but it is an excellent companion for a single disc. The soft seal, fan cooling ensures the reliability of disk while the unit almost silent operation ensures mental health of the user. This is a victory for all!
